Chandigarh 16th August:-State Bank of India celebrated 71st Independence Day in the premises of SBI Chandigarh LHO campus with fervor and enthusiasm. Sanjeev Naryani, General Manager (NW-II), State Bank of India, Local Head Office Chandigarh hoisted the National Flag. Sanjeev Naryani paid rich tributes to the Freedom Fighters and Armed Forces of our nation who are always alert and on the guard for preserving our Independence. Sanjeev Naryani and other GMs also released tricolor balloons as a gesture of Unity and Goodwill on the occasion.
The National Anthem and patriotic songs were played by school children. A large number of staff members and their families were present at the programme. An on the spot drawing competition for the children upto Class-V was also organized on the occasion.
